Friends Lecture & Meeting ~ Author Jim Merkel

All are welcome to the Friends of KHS lecture and  meeting on Monday, February 4th at Mudd’s Grove at 10 am.  

Our guest speaker is Jim Merkel a St. Louis author who has written several books about the Gateway City.  They are Hoosiers and Scrubby Dutch: St. Louis’s South Side; Beer, Brats and Baseball; German-Americans in St. Louis; Making of an Icon: The Dreamers, The Schemers, and the Hard Hats Who Built the Gateway Arch and The Colorful Characters of St. Louis. Visitors are welcome. Please come and learn more about St. Louis’ colorful history from Jim.
