Friends’ Speaker Series: The Underground Railroad in Alton, Illinois (Zoom) 2/1/21 6:00 PM

A graduate of Howard University and of the University of Missouri-Columbia, J. Eric Robinson is assistant professor of history at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis (formerly St. Louis College of Pharmacy), where he has taught since 2007. Since 1995, his tours of the Underground Railroad in Alton, Illinois, has hosted guests from most states in the Union and from four continents, and has been featured by the New York Times and by BBC World Service, among other media. His book of creative nonfiction detailing a woman’s escape from slavery in Saint Louis to freedom in Canada in 1853, “GERTRUDE BARLABIE?” MY QUEST, is forthcoming.

    Can I watch me. robinsons presentation on the underground railway since I missed the zoom meeting on 2/1?
