To our members, it is time to renew your membership. For our followers, we hope that you will consider joining us as we strive to “preserve, illuminate and celebrate” our Kirkwood area history.
One of the benefits of membership is our Quarterly Review. The Review is a content-rich 12-page booklet. The Summer 2020 issue pictured here, contains three in-depth stories, all by different writers.

The cover story takes us back into Kirkwood history through the life of William Vincent Byars 1857-1938. The Byars’ lived at 425 N. Taylor.
The article on the development of Windsor Acres before 1940 is a fascinating history of the development of that land tract.
And, before there was Meramec Community College, there were 58 acres of woods and the remnants of St. Joseph Academy. We enjoyed sharing this heartwarming tale of Sixty Years of Memories of the woods and the growth of the college.
