Research Our Archives

Harlan Gould LibraryThe Kirkwood Archives in The Harlan Gould Research Library is a non-lending repository that offers an extensive collection of maps, newspaper articles, personal scrapbooks, old photos of people, businesses, churches, schools and homes.  If it was part of the culture of how Kirkwoodians lived, worked, worshiped and learned in Kirkwood, we probably have it.

We are open every Friday afternoon from 1-4 PM for drop in researchers.   To schedule an appointment at another time please send email to kirkwoodhistory1853@gmail.com or Call 314-965-5151  to reserve your spot and let us know what you want to research.
